Air Traffic Services
The Air Traffic Services is available from 06:00 till 08:00 in the evening South African time. On prior notification the services can be extended at cost to any hours as required.
New state of the art Navigational communications equipments are installed in the tower to comply with the stringent requirement of SACAA and ICAO.

Navigational Infrastructure
The Instrument Landing System (ILS) is calibrated together with DVOR, DME and important precision landing instruments. The designing and charting of ILS and GNSS (Global Navigational Satellite System) is underway to make Polokwane International the safest and first in South Africa to utilize this combination.
The airport management uphold the requisite safety standards as documented in relevant ICAO and SACAA documents.
